Freight Forwarder

Keenan Recruitment has been retained by a leading freight consolidator in Ireland; providing air, sea and road consolidation services to clients across all of Ireland.

We are now recruiting for new customer service staff to join our client's LCL and sea freight team.

Criteria:

• Must have experience of inbound/outbound customs process
• Be customer focused and dedicated to providing great service in all circumstances
• Have a strong attention to detail and be process driven

Our client's LCL department consolidate inbound containers from every major global port into Ireland. The role includes:

• Liaising with clients from point of booking through import clearance and to final delivery to door
• Resolving operational problems
• Liaising with overseas agents and managing the consolidation of containers in origin ports
• Processing inbound customs through NI and ROI customs systems

There will be on the job training will be provided and the role offers an incredible opportunity to become proficient in multiple customs systems and shipping process.

Competitive starting salary of £25-35k offered, dependant on experience, along with bonus payments and pension package.
